Downloading & Installing Smart board Software

 

In order to download and install the Smart board software on your own machine, you must first get avalid code, then download the software itself.

 

Getting a code

 

First of all, you need to get a valid product code. To do this:

 

-First, get the serial number from any Smart board installed at the College. To find this,
 you need to look underneath the Smart board itself, as pointed out in this photo:

    -Now, go to this page: http://smarttech.com/nb10productkey/

   -Enter the serial number in the box on the web page and choose "Education"
 from the drop-down menu 

  - Click "Continue"

   - On the next page you will need to fill in your name, address and details about your job

Make sure you fill in your email address correctly, as a product key will be sent to this address.
You will need this later on!

   - Once you have filled in the information, click the "Continue" button
   -At the next step, select the "SMART Board interactive whiteboard" option

   -Choose whether you wish to receive email news or not, then press the "Continue" button

   -Now, you will receive an email containing both the product key and a link to download the software

Getting the software

To download an install the software

 

-Check your emails, you should have received one from SMART Tech

-In the email there will be a link to download/upgrade the software. Click on this

-There are versions for both Windows and Mac operating systems. As the method may change
, please follow the instructions on the page.

-During the installation of the software, you will need to enter the Product Key.
 Copy this from the email that you received.
